Campers treat Lions to a little Tooty Tah!

The Lions of Mississippi held their annual State convention on the same weekend and in the same city as the camp.  Lions from Biloxi to Tupelo and Natchez to Meridian were able to first hand see this great Mississippi Lions project in action.

This was a fantastic camp. Thanks to all the organizations that made it possible: Beau Rivage Casino and Resort, Mississippi Council of the Blind, Mississippi Lions Sight Foundation, Mike Kessler, Natchez Leo Club, all the Lions, Nurses and others who volunteered their time and/or money. We couldn't do it without you. See you next year.

Fishing was new this year.

Too windy for the fish.

New Activities this year included fishing, soccer and kite flying.  The wind was real gusty which kept the fish from biting, but the campers still had a great time on the beach.

TOPS Soccer.... A New Favorite!

This will be a yearly event!

A Prize waits at the end.

The 2003 camp was the largest to date and also the beginning of many new events. The T Shirts were once again courtesy of the Mississippi Council of the Blind.
